Crag View Cottage, 4 Long Lane, Stainton With Adgarley, Dalton-in-furness, Barrow In Furness, Cumbria, LA13 0NH

Description of the holiday cottage

Crag View Cottage is a three bedroom holiday cottage in Stainton with Adgarley near Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria, sleeping up to six guests. Set in the Cumbrian countryside and within reach of the Lake District, Morecambe Bay and the Furness Peninsula, it is a practical choice for families, friends or dog owners looking for a self catering stay with a hot tub and plenty of days out nearby.

The cottage has three bedrooms, including a super king size bedroom, a king size bedroom and a further king size zip and link bedroom that can be arranged as a twin on request. This gives guests flexibility for families, couples travelling together or a group of friends. There are two bathrooms, and guests should check the latest bathroom layout before booking if a bath or walk in shower is important.

The kitchen diner is one of the main spaces in the cottage, with a breakfast bar and room for guests to cook, eat and spend time together. The separate living room has an electric fire, giving visitors somewhere comfortable to relax after days out around Dalton, Ulverston, Barrow or the southern Lake District.

Useful features include WiFi, Smart TVs, Sky Sports, BT Sports, Amazon and Netflix access, PS4 with games, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, sandwich press, bed linen and towels. A travel cot and highchair are available, which may help families staying with younger children.

Outside, Crag View Cottage has an enclosed rear garden with furniture and a private hot tub. This is likely to be one of the main reasons guests choose the cottage, especially after walking, beach trips or family days out. One small well behaved dog is welcome, but pets must be kept in the kitchen, so dog owners should check the latest rules before booking.

The location is useful for exploring both coast and countryside. Dalton-in-Furness is close by for shops, places to eat, Dalton Castle and access towards Furness Abbey. Barrow-in-Furness, Ulverston, South Lakes Safari Zoo, the Dock Museum, Haverthwaite Railway, Duddon Estuary and Morecambe Bay are all useful places to know about during a stay.

Guests can also head towards the Lake District for Windermere, Cartmel, Grizedale Forest, lakeside walks, boat trips and scenic drives. This makes Crag View Cottage a good base for visitors who want a mix of hot tub time, countryside, coastal days and access to the southern Lakes.

The cottage only accepts a minimum stay of four nights and does not allow smoking. Parking is on street, so guests should check the latest parking details before travelling, especially if arriving with more than one car. A good housekeeping bond may apply. Before arranging a stay, it is worth checking the latest prices, availability, hot tub rules, dog rules, parking information, review scores and booking terms through the cottage provider, as these can change throughout the year.

Was Crag View Cottage Worth the Hot Tub Hype?

If you have stayed at Crag View Cottage, your review could help future guests understand whether the cottage lives up to its strong guest feedback. Share how the bedrooms worked for your group, whether the kitchen diner felt sociable, and how much you used the hot tub and enclosed garden. It would also be useful to mention parking, dog rules, TV and games facilities, comfort, cleanliness, and how easy it was to visit Dalton-in-Furness, Ulverston, Furness Abbey, Morecambe Bay or the southern Lake District during your stay.
