| Cottage Review:
This is a lovely cottage with the most fantastic shower we have ever encountered in all our various holiday stays! The owners thoughfully provided welcoming flowers, milk and biscuits for us and dog treats for our pup - all were very appreciated! The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well appointed - our only (minor) gripe was that the bed was smaller than we have at home and had a much softer mattress but that is just our personal preference. One observation - particularly for autumn / winter stays - would the useful addtion of a welly or walking boot covered box outside the front door to save muddy footwear being brought inside. (Or maybe a small shoe rack inside the boiler cupboard for storage?) The village was lovely and residents were very friendly and welcoming. We hope to return before too long. |
