Description of the holiday cottage

Church View Cottage is a one bedroom holiday cottage in Abbots Bromley near Rugeley, Staffordshire, sleeping up to two guests. Set in a village location with countryside nearby, it is a practical choice for couples or solo guests looking for a self catering break with local walks, village character and easy access to Staffordshire days out.

The cottage is arranged across one level, with a double bedroom and one bathroom with bath and shower over. The open plan living space includes the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, giving guests one comfortable space to cook, eat and relax after exploring the local area.

Useful features include WiFi, Smart TV, kitchen facilities, heating and off road parking. The single storey layout may appeal to guests who prefer to avoid stairs, although anyone with specific access needs should still check the full property details before booking.

One pet is welcome, making the cottage a useful option for guests who want to bring their dog, although it is worth checking the latest pet rules before booking.

Cottage Review:

This is a lovely cottage with the most fantastic shower we have ever encountered in all our various holiday stays!

The owners thoughfully provided welcoming flowers, milk and biscuits for us and dog treats for our pup - all were very appreciated!

The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well appointed - our only (minor) gripe was that the bed was smaller than we have at home and had a much softer mattress but that is just our personal preference.

One observation - particularly for autumn / winter stays - would the useful addtion of a welly or walking boot covered box outside the front door to save muddy footwear being brought inside. (Or maybe a small shoe rack inside the boiler cupboard for storage?)

The village was lovely and residents were very friendly and welcoming. We hope to return before too long.
