Lodge is fantastic, spotlessly clean and has a fab wood burner. We needed it - although the lodge with the central heating and heated floors in bathrooms was nice and warm anyway.

The weather was fab as it snowed and we had great fun on the moors with our Golden Retriever Molly.

Views are fab from the front of the lodge. We had a drive to Pooley Bridge to see the devastation caused by the floods and to support the local businesses. GO - Granny Dowbekins! Yea we love this place so does Molly i.e. Doggy bags!

Will be back in Aug for a slightly warmer stay

We stayed over Christmas and it is exactly what we wanted, away from busy life and in a secluded luxury lodge. The owners were very pleasant and helpful, the lodge was very clean, high spec and very luxurious. We loved the log burner (log supplied) and it heated the lodge very nicely. The surrounding area is beautiful and the view out of the living space was amazing. Locals in the village were very friendly but due to Christmas everything was shut so it would have been near impossible to get anything if you needed it. We would definitely return!

Tip : far

We stayed in October as couples with our 2 dogs and couldn't have picked a better place.

Great location, the lodges are beautifully designed and the hosts of the farm were so helpful and kind leaving us little local gifts on arrival. If your looking for a quiet escape with stunning views, walks on your door step and a luxurious place to crash at the end of a hard days walking-this is the place. No negatives to this little gem!
