| Cottage Review:
I went with my husband and cousin. We went for a quiet getaway for my birthday for 7 days. I have to say buttermere was beautiful, tranquil and picturesque. The log cabin was so welcoming and homely the gardens around it were stunning with so much wildlife it was amazing. The cabin had everything we needed. The beds were comfy the sofa was brilliant the kitchen was well equipped. We had an issue with a blocked shower but I spoke to the owner and they sort it the same day. I would certainly recommend to everyone. If you have children this would be for you they would love the gardens and the hills and fields. |

| Cottage Review:
A lovely log cabin set within lovely grounds. The cabin was very warm for this time of year and a reflect location for days out at the a South Lakes. We would definitely go again. |

| Cottage Review:
Perfect for family with one grown up child. The place is quiet and clean with adequate cooking facilities to make our own meals. A good restaurant nearby is Farmers Arms, the oldest pub in the Lake District, we had a nice dinner there. |

| Cottage Review:
We found the cabin to be a good choice for our holiday in the Lake District. It is clean and well equipped and in a peaceful location set in the grounds of Summer Hill House.It was central to many local attractions yet still private and quiet. We would return without hesitation. |
