The owners are outstanding hosts and made us feel so welcome from the first moment we met them and throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to stay again. Apart from the obvious places to visit from here one gem that we found was the RAF Museum at Cosford (which is free to visit apart from a ?5.00 parking cost) - this is an amazing place for all ages and ideal if you get a rainy day!

We met the owners on arrival, and within ten minutes we felt we had known them all our lives, Rob and Belinda were so warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble during our stay with them.

The property is immaculate, both for cleanliness and maintenance. It is very comfortable, and its location is ideal

We have two "well behaved" dogs who instantly felt at home and were well relaxed.

We cannot thank the owners for making our stay so enjoyable.

Cottage Review:

As with everyone else across the country we desperately wanted to get away after the Covid lock down and visit a part of the country we hadn't been to before and chose Shropshire with plenty of places to visit in close proximity. After an horrendous journey up from Devon due to traffic on the M5 it was a great pleasure to be welcomed by Belinda and Rob to our rural retreat for the week.

In a beautiful setting with the daily spectre of the wildlife from all vantage points, we quickly settled into Butterfly Cottage which was spotless, comfortable and very well apportioned having been fully refurbished in time for this inaugural letting season.

We spent the week visiting local attractions and would highly recommend Ludlow and the Castle there, Ironbridge and most of their Museums, Cosford RAF Museuem and the Severn Valley Railway. Thankfully, despite the forecast of wet weather throughout our stay, it stayed dry with rain only overnight. There are numerous walks available locally but we did not avail ourselves of these due to an ongoing back problem.

We would unreservedly recommend Butterfly Cottage and Belinda and Rob could not have been better hosts. Friendly, understanding and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable.

Cottage Review:

The owners Belinda and Rob couldn't be more welcoming or helpful. The cottage has been recently renovated to a very high standard and good quality furniture/bedding makes for a comfortable stay.

We enjoyed watching the wide variety of local wildlife while we ate our meals. The surrounding area is beautiful with wonderful views and lots of history to explore.

Will definitely be booking again.

Cottage Review:

Great cottage very recently refurbished with everything you need, in lovely garden. We were lucky with the weather so spent most of the time in the garden watching the many birds (including regilar visits from a woodpecker, tree creepers etc), but the cottage is very cosy if you're indoors too, even has a little reading room that I didn't get a chance to use. Belinda and Rob are very friendly and welcoming, and Milly the springer was very friendly too, (our dog loved her!). The cottage is set in beautiful countryside with walks from the door (bring wellies!), as well as more to explore further afield - only 20 minutes to Bewdley/Wyre forest, similar distance to Ludlow which we didn't get to on this occasion. We hope to return soon!
