Superb location, quiet, beautiful countryside and the owner is fantastic.

Plenty of space for grandparents in the annex at the top, three children under five and adults, and the dog!

Fab spacious kitchen and huge fridge with smaller fridge and freezer as well.

Lots of toys and games to find in all the storage.

Enclosed bit of back patio but use of lawned area and additional seating area for the kids to play.

Fab discovery centre five mins away in Craven Arms with great walks and play park as well as the mammoth!

If a wet day Mickeys Millers playbarn also five mins away in Craven Arms, awesome place.

The bottle of rosé and huge homemade sponge cake from the owner on arrival took the edge off our long journey.

All in all great family holiday for my mums 70th birthday.

Ps book a Tesco delivery to the cottage after you arrive so you don't have to worry about food (or alcohol )

This house is the perfect base for a family holiday in Shropshire. We were a party of six adults and a five-year-old. We received a friendly welcome from the owner, who had also left a lovely sponge cake, eggs and a bottle of wine for us in the kitchen. The house is very well equipped and there was plenty of room for all of us with ample seating both inside and in the garden.

The house is easy to reach - but make sure you follow the owner's instructions and not your Sat-Nav! There is plenty of room for parking (we had three cars). We made good use of the b

We have just returned after 6 nights at this cottage. It is in a very rural and peaceful location, up a single track road close to Broome and Aston on Clun. On arrival we found the owner had left us a bottle of wine, vase of flowers, freshly laid eggs and a huge Victoria Sponge on the kitchen table - all lovely, thank you.

There were 7 of us (all adults) and there was plenty of room. The kitchen has an Aga, which keeps the room lovely and cosy. (There is also a traditional hob & oven should you not wish to cook on the Aga.) The top floor could be co

We had a very happy family break in the middle of February. From the moment of our arrival, the owners could not have been more helpful(we had Tesco delivery problems and no mobile phone signal !) Our party comprised several adults & 3 grandchildren and the house easily accommodated everyone - we used the top floor lounge as a "play/crafts room".

The kitchen was also a warm and practical room with 2 fridges and 2 cookers !
