Cottage Review:
9 of our family (aged 39 to 83) stayed here for a week over Christmas and we had a fabulous time. The place was decorated with a lovely Christmas tree, lights and garlands which made it feel very festive from the moment we arrived. There were even yummy mince pies waiting for us! OK, so the place is a little tired and does need some TLC and some of the bedrooms were a little chilly (just make sure all radiators are on full and the rooms will be fine by bedtime); however, this did not detract from what is a fabulous place for a group gathering, be that family |

Cottage Review:
There were 10 of us in the party and we booked from Friday to Monday. Once we had all settled in, our colleague who had the booking in her name had occasion to ring the owner late Friday afternoon as it was getting dark and the fact there were several lights bulbs out, her son arrived with some bulbs but they were no good. Whilst he was there we pointed out that there were no toilet rolls and lack of heat in the bedrooms and associated corridors. We were advised that "It was a big house to heat and sometimes people moaned that it was too hot". He said h |
