Booked Berts Cottage for my husband's 60th birthday and have to say it certainly didn't disappoint. Accommodation is absolute perfection and the location was the icing on the cake. Would not hesitate to recommend this 'little gem" and we hope to rebook here in the future. Both fittings and furnishings, as well as the building have been done to the highest of standards and offer for a truly amazing and luxurious stay. Perfect location for the Yorkshire Dales , The Pennines and The Lake District and we even managed to cram in a visit over the boarder for Gretna Green, then on to pay our respects at Lockerbie and even into Edinburgh. Wonderful cottage with a homely feel. Very clean and equiped to a high standard. You'll want for nothing. The cottage is in a peaceful location and has beautiful surroundings. Yet it's not very far from the Lake District, Noth Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales. Would certainly recommend. |
