A very spacious and fully equiped holiday bungalow. A definate home from home. It was warm and cosy and a lovely place to return after a day out. The owners were very welcoming and Ian pointed us in the right direction for eating and visiting. The welcome groceries were unexpected but very gratefully received. Many thanks. Would recommend as a great place to stay on the Isle of Skye

We decided that we wanted something better than our normal cheaper self catering this year and chose Ardmore and do not regret one moment of it. The bungalow is beatifully situated with fantatic views. The level of equipment and comfort throughout is better than anything we've been used to before. Ian and Anne were super hosts and as they were waiting for a part for the washing machine did all our washing for us. The property is only a very short walk from 2 good restaurants and 10 minutes walk (2 minutes drive) from the supermarket and petrol station. If (when) we go to Skye again this property would be our first choice.

I cannot recommend this spacious & well equipped cottage highly enough. The location is superb & we were made to feel very welcome. Every need was catered for. The beds and all furnishings were comfortable. The owners were extremely helpful both before and upon arrival, and provided a welcome pack, which was a lovely gesture. Thanks Very Much.

Have just returned from a week at Ardmore, which more than merits its 5 STB stars. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard with lots of crockery so you don't run out before the dishwasher is full as happens with so many properties where if it sleeps 6 there is only 6 of everything. This was also true of towels of which there are plenty. The weather was foul when we were there but the house was lovely and warm and we had a great time with good friends. Would definitely be happy to return

Make up of party:  We were 3 couples and the size of the bedrooms and the living areas meant that we never felt that we were living on top of each other. The sound insulation is particularly good which meant that we were never disturbed during the night by toilets flushing etc.

This is the second time that we have stayed at Ardmore. The accommodation is very spacious and spotlessly clean. Situated in a quiet location and well placed for touring Skye and Wester Ross. The quality of the furnishings are of an extremely high standard and really is a home from home. I was delighted this year to find that the owners had installed wi-fi which is always a boon when you are on holiday so that you can check out places to visit.

The owners, Ian and Anne, are very friendly and are always on hand if you need any help or advice. We will definitely return to Ardmore.

Make up of party:  The property is ideal for a couple or there is plenty of room for a whole family. 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms too.

Ardmore provides lovely spacious, well maintained, clean and modern accommodation for your trip to the Isle of Skye. All mod cons - WiFi, Sky TV, Plasma TV, FreeSat in the bedrooms - always warm and inviting whatever the weather outside! Plenty of space to park a couple of vehicles and for the kids to play safely outside. The location is great with a Coop foodstore, cashpoint, petrol station and restaurant all within 5 minutes of Ardmore. A walk to the shoreline to see Seals and Otters is nice of an evening and the surrounding area provides great scenery. One of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in and we have made repeat visits.

Make up of party:  Immediate family stayed for a week and friends visited.

We first discovered Ardmore in 2007 and have returned here several times each year ever since.

it is the most comfortable, spacious, holiday cottage we have ever visited and it is extremely well-equipped. It is always spotlessly clean, warm and very welcoming at all times of the year. The location is ideal for access to all parts of Skye as well as Lochalsh and Wester Ross. There is a well stocked supermarket nearby and good choice of restaurants within walking distance in Broadford and also in the surrounding area.

If we could be guaranteed wall-to-wall sunshine, we'd never go anywhere else!
