Description of the self catering
This charming self-catering cottage has a double bedroom with ensuite baththroom, with shower and bath. A spacious twin bedded room features an orthpedic electric controlled bed then adjoining bathroom with large shower and shower stool if required. Maple wood fitted quality kitchen, dining room and lounge lead into a large enclosed patio with table and chairs, just right for a morning coffee in the sun. Anvil cottage is suitable for the less able and wheel chair guest.Best Features
Anvil cottage, formely a wainhouse has been converted to leave a wealth of beams and exposed brickwork. A little gem, quite separate, all ground floors, spacious, light and airy. Disabled access.

| Cottage Review:
We wanted a holiday cottage not too far from Hereford, (only 10 minutes away by car) and found Anvil Cottage in The Grafton Villa Farm on the Ross road. What a wonderful place to stay, Bill & Jennie Layton the owners, could not have been better hosts. So friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble; we were treated not just like paying guests, but as friends. The cottage was perfect, two large bedrooms, a good sized sitting/dining area and a very good set up kitchen. A bathroom with shower/wc and a separate shower/wc room, something very unusual in an English two bedroom cottage where you normally only get one bathroom. The gardens surrounding the cottage were immaculate and lovely, covered with lawn and flowers and the view from the cottage wonderful! We could go on and on, suffice to say we would recommend Anvil cottage to everyone wanting the best of a country holiday cottage but near to all the facilities and activities of a great city like Hereford. Our thanks to Bill & Jennie Layton for making our stay with them such a happy experience and making our holiday an unforgettable pleasure. Joe & Stella London |
