Cottage Review:   The cottage has been recently renovated to a very high standard. Stunning views over the Solway Firth to the Lake District at the front, and a picnic bench and seating at the back in the garden. The kitchen area is large and pristine, with a dining table just off (and tv on wall), and the living room is comfortable and has the scenic views. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the views of the coast; the twin room is to the rear. Lovely shower in the bathroom. A really peaceful, relaxing place for a holiday, but the Powfoot Hotel is close by if you fancy a very good meal or a drink. There are no shops at Powfoot but lots of nice walks, and Annan or Gretna or Dumfries offer plenty shops. The owners are really lovely, and you?ll have a number to call if there are any issues. Thoroughly recommend this holiday accommodation.
