From the moment we arrived to a warm welcome from owners Vicki and Steve and an array of delicious cakes, till the moment we left, our visit exceeded our already high expectations. The rooms were beautifully furnished, we loved the themed bedrooms, and warm and cosy even after a very frosty night. The kitchen was very well equipped and absolutely everything we needed was provided. The log burner was a lovely feature in the comfortable lounge and so easy to use. Our family group was aged 2 to 88 so we made good use of the playroom and excellent games room as well as the stunning location. The 2 year old loved visiting the alpacas and collecting eggs from the hens. We had an amazing weekend that could not be faulted.

We were a party of 14 made up of 7 couples and rented the stables across the cobbled courtyard as well. Both properties are fully furnished with everything you could want right down to the dishwasher. The properties were spotless and every care had been taken to make our stay memorable. We all ate around the barn table in the evenings which seats 16 and relaxed in the large living room which was excellent for socializing. The games room is an absolute bonus with darts, pool tabel, table tennis table and football table not to mention stacks of videos, CD's and books to keep you occupied. Above the games room is a play area for children.
We all enjoyed our stay that much that we are going to book it again for next year.
