Only book this place if you bring your own cleaning equipment and bedding. Really dirty in bedrooms and filth in kitchen. Months worth of dirt, grime and dust under and behind beds. Owners take no responsibility, have not offered a proper apology and take weeks to reply to emails. Pictures on website not at all representative of the property. A hostel, not a holiday home, in fact, we have stayed in nicer and cleaner hostels, with more professional hosts. Management also owe us our deposit back, more than 2 months since our booking and not sign of it or response to our requests for it. Halcyon Cottages you owe us money. Really disappointing. We do not recommend this property at all. Do not bother, save your money and spend it somewhere else.
