| Cottage Review:
We realy enjoyed our stay there for a week with family and kids. Even with the concent of a wedding in the grounds that week.. Before wedding night owner called to say they wernt insured for such an occation... OK.. So we sorted a tempory insurance and offered to pay but in the end the lady offered to cover the costs for the little extra... Upon leaving we asked owner of we could come back to collect some items that we couldn't fit in cars. She was fine with taht and said to collect wenever.. Going forward a month we called to collect items but she blanked all ooff our calls. Want until we walled of diffrent number that she answered and was realy unpleasant to talk to and rude.. Saying she wasn't happy about wedding even though we had sorted it with herself at the time and that we had left the place a mess which isnt correct as we all chipped in and tidied property and even hired cleaner to help make sure place was tidy to as a thanks for letting us go ahead with wedding.. She finished the conversation off with. "you arnt welcome back again" I don't understand why this lady is being so awkward. But after seing how picky this lady is we will definately not be back as there is plenty more cottages in the area with less fuss and alot more laid back people. My advice if you stay is to walk on eggshells and hire a team of cleaners when you leave. |
