A beautiful Cottage but needs a more professional touch

We booked 4 nights, upon arriving the cottage was freezing cold, no heating at all, no logs, and kindling as promised.

It took 24 hours for the cottage to warm up on the ground floor. The upstairs main bedroom was very, very cold throughout our stay. the fan heaters were useless.

No welcome when we arrived was bad enough but the lack of care was simply disgusting,

After 3 nights we left, A total waste of of money and a long-awaited break ruined

Cottage Review:

Lovely weeks stay at this cottage. Stayed with two friends, one quite disabled. He was able to use his walker inside the property, and the wetroom ensuite was easily accessed. Loved the chickens - we weren't able to hear them from the property but went for a walk to talk to them. Easy to get to local towns - Malmesbury is near and a lovely town. Martin, the owner is very helpful and on hand if you need him.

Cottage Review:

Situated in a quiet rural area this cottage offers a really peaceful break, it is very well fitted out with 2 on suite bedrooms making it ideal for 2 couples or a family. Martin welcomed us when we arrived and is keen to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

We went to the New Inn for a meal the landlord has an unusual approach to customer relations and we really enjoyed the evening and the food was great.

We can recommend this cottage and would certainly stay there again.

Cottage Review:

Stayed for a weeks holiday in this beautiful cottage as a family of 3. The cottage was absolutely beautiful was well equipped with all good quality items. You didn?t need to leave the cottage you could quite easily stay in and enjoy the luxury (which we did on a couple of occasions) Martin was the perfect host he came to introduce himself on arrival with a dozen fresh eggs from the farm and before the holiday he answered all questions more or less straight away. The only thing we was a little disappointed with was the listing said there was a washing machine
