Description of the self catering property

The White House at Wensley is a bright and airy holiday home with a modern and comfortable interior. The property is ideally located for exploring the Peak District and is a short drive from the A6 which takes you to Blakewell or Matlock in either direction. Darley Dale is within walking distance and has a pub, whilst the cottage iteself is surrounded by countryside on the edge of the village.

The White House is extremely well presented with a really spacious and bright lounge, there are two sofas and a traditional chair to relax in along with a woodburner and a door that leads to the outside. The modern kitchen retains the cottage feel and is light with plenty of space and has a dining table and chairs plus all of the modern appliances that you will need. Upstairs, there is a large double bedroom with plenty of storage space and a second twin bedroom with period features including a fireplace and is warm and cosy with a wardrobe and drawers. To the side of the property, there is an enclosed garden area, primarily laid to gravel with an outdoor table and chairs. The property has on road parking opposite the front of the cottage.

This property is perfect for couples sharing or a family of four that want to explore the Peak District. You are in a rural location but a short drive to one of the main roads in the area providing easy access to some great places to visit including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and Crich Tramway. It is a perfect base if you want a character home as a base and a warm welcome when you return from exploring and walking in the Peak District.
