White Cottage is a self catering holiday home a mile from Port Navas is Calamansack, a hamlet of cottages down a private lane beside the broad Helford River, looking over it and Frenchmans Creek to wooded hillsides and fields. Lots of birds (swans, curlews, buzzards, herons and egrets), animals (foxes, badgers). An infinitely peaceful scene, excellent for birdwatchers. ... White Cottage is detached with stunning views over the river. Sun terrace (table/chairs, barbecue) with steps to an acre of garden sloping down to the water's edge with own slipway and 100' of river frontage. Good-sized living/dining room with inglenook fireplace (woodburner), TV/DVD/video, superb views of the river from each window and glazed door to terrace. There is a fitted kitchen with slate floor at White Cottage near Port Navas, granite worktops, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, table/chairs.
