| Cottage Review:
Just returned home after staying three nights in the cottage, booked for my husbands birthday treat. The owner met us on arrival and she was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. She gave us a lovely welcome pack of wine, biscuits, milk, tea and coffee which was a lovely added bonus. The cottage is lovely and cosy, its quite dark inside with it being in the corner but it was fine. Lovely small courtyard at the rear which is a suntrap, it's lovely to sit and read there, there is a brolly if it's too hot. The kitchen is well equipped, the lounge is cosy with an electric log burner effect fire if it's a bit chilly. The shower was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. The only pub in the village is friendly and welcoming but they don't sell food. They helped another couple with a few takeaways though. Some lovely walks from the cottage. |
