| Cottage Review:
We booked with Sykes and the house, garden, decor, equipment is exactly as described, which is lovely. But... There is no parking near the property. A permit to park in the nearby car park is provided. What they don't tell you is, that said car park is down a steep incline and then back up another lane to the property. There are double yellow lines and no parking signs so it's difficult to get anywhere near. A trolley is provided but it took us 2 trips (couple in our 60s and the dog) The bedrooms are also an issue as both have sloping walls/ceilings. I'm 5 ft 3 and either had to crick my neck or bang my head. We had a nice holiday but wouldn't book this property again. Shame because the house and garden are extremely good and the they left us a nice welcome bag of goodies. I just think people should know what they're getting into. We found it a challenge. |
