Waveney Cottage, Withersdale Road, Weybread, Harleston, Suffolk, IP21 5UA

We have just returned from a 4 night break at the Waveney cottage. Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable, the house itself is comfy and cosy with lots of home comforts and personal touches. The bed in the main bedroom is super comfortable and spacious. we did struggle with cooking on the Aga and it took a little getting used to, but I guess it might be the same for anyone not used to this type of cooker.

The stairs from the ground floor to upstairs are a little unusual, and very narrow so not suitable for anyone with any type of mobility issue.

The gard

We?ve stayed in many holiday lets, Waveney cottage features among the best of them. The house was spotlessly clean, the aga makes the kitchen/dinner very cosy and the quality of the fittings, linen and towels made all the difference.

Nothing is too much trouble and suggestions for improvements welcome. A refreshing change. We highly recommend this house.

What can I say about Waveney Cottage other than it's absolutely stunning! The thatched cottage is set in a peaceful location with a huge garden and wonderful views across the countryside, just a short drive to the pretty town of Harleston. The house and gardens are beautiful and the attention to detail within the property is stunning.

This beautifull cottage is the ideal place to come and relax. Situated just a short drive to the town of harleston. The cottage is stunning both inside & out full of character. On arrival the owners had left a bottle of wine & box of chocolates which is a lovely touch , the hot tub was lovely perfect with a glass of wine looking onto the large garden .There are many places to visit for days out either having a day at the beach or watching the boats pass you by on the broads .

I stayed at this beautiful thatched house. The attention to detail from the Owners is outstanding. I travel for work so spend a lot of time in lovely hotels but this cottage far exceeded the standards of the most Boutique hotels I?ve ever stayed in: Wine and chocolates, fresh milk in the fridge, lovely quality bed linen, beautiful pillows, large soft, fluffy towels, bottles of mineral water next to the beds, roll top bath (This is the biggest roll top bath I?ve ever been in). My friends had bedroom two which overlooks the rear garden. Again, a beautiful room

We were looking for something pretty with safe space for the dog and this didn?t disappoint!

The house is beautiful with a thatched roof and beams throughout.

The garden is a large and enclosed with a summer house at the bottom to chill out in.

In the garden is also an added bonus of a hot tub which is right on the patio so not out of the way.

The master bedroom has the biggest bed I have ever seen and a free standing bathroom in the bedroom - amazing!
