| Cottage Review:
Just got back from Vine Cottage in Pilling, we had a terrific 7 days (the weather had a lot to do with that) and will definitely return in the future. The dwelling had plenty of space for the 7 of us all adults. The 4 bedrooms were of adequate size with very comfortable beds and sufficient drawer and wardrobe space. The ground floor consisted of a large open plan kitchen diner lounge, a double bedroom, shower room and small intimate lounge. The downstairs utility room came in very handy for storing our golf clubs, shoes and luggage. The kitchen area was well equipped with crockery, drinking vessels, cooking utensils.a large fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The outside hot tub was great and bathrobes and flip-flops were supplied to travel to and from. The nearest shop, pub and chip shop were a 15 minute walk on a public footpath but considerably longer by road. We find it hard to believe that Karen and John (the owners) have only been renting their cottage out for a few months, they seem to have got it right very quickly and you could not wish to meet a more friendly helpful couple. |
