| Cottage Review:
We have just returned from a stay at Throwers cottage and unfortunately not the accommodation we were expecting based on the cost we paid. I appreciate due to the pandemic demand is high and this has pushed up the price of accommodation but it means us as customers are paying over the odds and in this case I believe we have been overcharged by around £300 for the week. We were asked to arrive late due to additional cleaning and unfortunately we found the accommodation to be dusty and generally unclean, especially the rugs, BBQ and bedside tables, plus dog poo in the garden. We would have expected a much higher level of cleanliness. I would also recommend if you have a child under the age of 8 you do not book this cottage due to the extremely steep staircase directly outside the bedroom doors. The area was beautiful and I would recommend a visit just not in this accommodation, very disappointing considering the price we paid. |
