| Cottage Review:
Very nice house. Well appointed. Big problem with noise meant we had to leave early. No refund agreed. No warning before our arrival about longstanding construction noise right next door, and also construction that started the week before our arrival across the street directly opposite. The owner is not evident and you have to go through a booking agent (Sykes). This means you cannot negotiate. All rooms apart from the bathroom front onto a very busy street, and because there is no double glazing, noise is a major problem. |
