| Cottage Review:
Thyme house was lovely, spacious, fully equipped with everything you need. We were a party of 7 staying Friday 21 July to Tuesday 25 July 2023. It was ideal as each bedroom had an en suite and there was an additional kitchen and sitting room in the basement. The views from the conservatory over the moors are breathtaking. The house is ideally placed to walk in to Howarth Town centre and enjoy the pubs and eateries. The one disappointing feature of Thume house is that all the shower waste pipes were partially clogged and hadn't been cleaned for what appeared quite some time so when you ran the showers the water took ages to run down the drain and this was accompanied by a very strong sewage smell which was very unpleasant. Apart from this we had a very enjoyable short break. |
