| Cottage Review:
This cottage is quirky, has uneven floors, a shower room which could not be described as spacious and is full of character. As other reviewers have said, it is basic but certainly has everything you would need for a week's stay. Unfortunately the owners were not on site to meet us on arrival as they were away, but we had no problem accessing the property. They met us the following day and were very friendly and helpful. The fire was great (the evenings were chilly) and it was a new experience to burn the peat provided as part of the rental. The cottage |

| Cottage Review:
The location is really rural and tranquil - a thatched cottage in a small, friendly farming community with great views and a nice bar just five minutes walk away. The cottage is not luxurious but comfortable enough (and authentic) and the owners were very helpful. There was plenty of turf and wood for the stove and we just loved the scent of peat in the air. The area around is full of interest and spectacular views. Westport is an elegant and fascinating town with really good food (we had a superb meal at the Sage restaurant) and much to see including Westpo |

| Cottage Review:
We loved our stay in the Thatched cottage- it is not luxurious, but we were not looking for luxury. We enjoy walking and the views were spectacular. The Thatched Cottage was the perfect base for our holiday. We could dry out our socks in front of the peat fire when it rained (which it did quite a lot) and it was quite a short drive into Westport where we enjoyed a drop of the black stuff and some fantastic music of an evening. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and accommodating. I would heartily recommend the Thatched Cottage to anyone who is after |
