The description and images of the cottage suggest that it is private and on its own. When in facts it?s next to reception and other accommodations.

You also can?t let your dog outside of cottage due to there being no closed fencing. If it was an open space like the images suggest it wouldn?t be a problem but with cars driving past that?s not ok.

We specifically booked this cabin for this reason and for the hot tub.

On the first night we jumped in the hot tub which was cold, after 2 minutes we had to jump out and have a hot shower. Shower took around 5 minut

Whilst the listing shows a map, it does not state the road is extremely busy, 24/7 and the constant rumbling of trucks and other traffic spoilt the week. We wanted an idyllic get a way but this was not possible. Also the cottage is right next door to the service area for the entire park, constant comings and goings. This was not mentioned in any literature nor was the fact it was part of a park of 20+ other cabins. The accommodation is very dated, something that cannot be seen in the pictures. We had originally booked for the Hawthorns Spa but due to the bad weather and snow the pipes had frozen. The lady on reception was really helpful and managed to relocate us to the Stablings. It?s such a lovely little cottage the fire was lit and the hot tub was fired up all ready for our arrival. We were really looking forward to staying in the log cabin but the Stablings was a nice surprise and we were not disappointed. Everything was catered for.
