| Cottage Review:
The Stables is a well equipped and spacious self contained property. The owners farmhouse is close at hand, but completely separate. This region is a delight for anyone who likes quiet and natural rural England. There are many delightful small towns and villages within easy reach and some excellent pubs serving really good food. The Dorset coast is not far away and is easily reached. The local lanes are quite narrow but are generally quiet and represent no drawback - they are part of the attraction for us! Arrived to find cupcakes, tea bags, milk and sugar waiting for us! The cottage, gardens, views are fabulous and the surrounding area is so peaceful and quiet. |

| Cottage Review:
We were warmly welcomed by the owner. the property was home from home and had been decorated with a lovely Christmas tree. Comfortable size for 4 adults and we had a dog with us. The garden attached to the stables was dog/child friendly. We found a local pub The Green Man very friendly and the food was tasty. The landlord was helpful with giving us space to accommodate a toddler and dog, which allowed us to have an enjoyable time there. The stables is quite isolated if you wanted to do any shopping, having said that found a supermarket in Sturminster Newton |
