Description of the holiday cottage

The Pool Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 first floor bedrooms: one double and one twin. There are steep stairs to the first floor. The upstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over, with a separate WC and basin. The sitting room has a 3 seater sofa, two arm chairs and an open fire plus TV, DVD/video and radio/CD player. The kitchen/dining room has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge with freezer box. The dining table seats 4. There is a separate cloakroom with a WC on the ground floor.

Best Features

A small selection of secluded, semi-detached properties that have been refurbished to a high standard in a peace inducing location. Set in an elevated position in the pastoral and afforested hill country of mid Wales, they enjoy communal garden area and planted borderlands with a wide variety of plants and shrubs and an abundance of wildlife. The garden is the perfect place for children to explore and play - a truly `Secret Garden'! The area is noted for its Red Kites. In an area where the River Dyfi and the Aran Fawddwy mountain range meet and lead out towards the beautiful coastal resorts of Cardigan Bay.

Cottage Review: Margate, Kent—Comfortable, airy and well-presented accommodation. Beautiful garden and views. Peaceful and relaxing base to return to at the end of a busy day-thoroughly enjoyed watching the Red Kites flying above the fields!

Cottage Review: Manchester--Beautiful place, very quiet and peaceful (apart from jets)! Comfortable cottage, very cosy. Lovely area for walking beautiful waterfalls, valley hills, etc. Lovely garden and views-history of the house and gardens very interesting.

Cottage Review: Oxford--Cottage relaxing cosy and a beautiful view. We had our own radio and didn't need a dvd player because in spite of the rain we found plenty to do including 3 steam train rides
