Set to the side of the owners home, The Old Engine House has plenty of charm and character, as soon as you walk through the doors and into the lounge area.

The comfortable and cosy lounge has a good-sized wood burner along with a sofa and chair and a TV with DVD player. There is also a small dining room on the side of the hallway with table and chairs and a comfortable kitchen with electric oven and electric hob, small dishwasher as well as a washing machine, microwave and fridge. There is also a shower room on the ground floor with wash hand basin and WC. Upstairs there is a romantic double bedrooms set under the eaves with a skylight and bedside table and lamps.

Cottage Review:   A very special little cottage. Spotlessly clean, everything you could need, Robin has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable.After each day walking, we felt we were going home to a warm, cosy cottage Our dogs loved it and it was relaxing for us as there was an enclosed garden plus a kitchen area where we could keep them apart from living room when they were muddy and wet Especially loved the little touches , tea, coffee, choccie biscuits and fresh flowers Thoroughly recommend, enjoy everyone

Cottage Review:   Had a fantastic week at the old engine house. This is a great place to stay for a visit to Cornwall. Ideally situated to explore both coasts. The cottage has a lovely relaxing feel and plenty of space. Has all you require for your stay. It's set in a lovely quiet location with the nearest beach twenty minutes away. The cottage is dog friendly and very clean. The owner Robin is a great host and nothing is to much trouble. You are welcomed each day by his very friendly accomplas Fred the black lab. We would definitely recommend this cottage.
