The Linhay at Cosawes, Cosawes Barton, Ponsanooth, Truro, Cornwall inc Scilly, TR3

What a wonderful property set in the beautiful Cornish landscape, you could not ask for a better place to stay. This was our third visit to Cosawes Barton and our second to the Linhay. Every detail has been considered in the lay out and facilities to make for a relaxing enjoyable holiday. We have even taken a couple of the design points away with us for our own house!

The Linhay is well laid out offering plenty of space which for our family of five and two dogs at no point felt claustrophobic. It creates the perfect balance of homely and spacious which just invites you in and makes you welcome. The decor and furnishings are clean and fresh and to a high standard, way above the standard normally expected in a dog friendly property. A good indication is that my son who suffers with allergies has never needed to reach for his inhaler once during his stays at the linhay or tremayne, not something that can be said for previous places we have stayed.

The grounds offer plenty of space for wandering and contribute to the peace and tranquility of the location. Though there are two other properties you do not notice them with your privacy maintained and respected at all times. Even our teenage children loved the space,and on previous visits thoroughly enjoyed the games room and play area. There is something on site to suit all ages.

Cosawes Barton is ideally located to Falmouth and other popular areas, making the perfect base for visiting the cornish sites. The local pub makes the most wonderful curry and is very welcoming, which is great for an evening out. If you prefer a night in the Linhay is well set up for home cooking or if the weather supports a BBQ on the terrace.

Louise and Andy are brilliant hosts who always make you feel truely welcome and lovely to see them each time. We highly recommend this property along with the other two cottages at Cosawes Barton as they are all completed to the same high standard.

The grounds in which the barns are set in are so peaceful and brilliant for children and dogs.
