Description of the holiday cottage
... a stone's throw from the slipway in Port Navas, at the head of the creek, two 18th cent., adjoining, Grade ll listed cottages, superbly renovated. Were once a pub called The Jolly Sailor. Behind lies a sunny, stream-bordered back garden (tables/chairs, barbecue), games room (table tennis). Both cottages are stylishly decorated and furnished to a high standard, with local prints and artwork. No smoking. Use of tumble drier (in games room). Very small, summer-opening charity shop attached.Sleeps: from 0 to 6

| Cottage Review: Helpful Holidays are always a complete pleasure to deal with. I do not know any other company in any industry that live up to their name so well. Whether booking the holiday or sorting out some left behind luggage their service and friendliness is second to none. | |||||

| Cottage Review: We had a wonderful time exploring the Lizard area in depth which we had not the oportunity to do before. Plenty to see and do in the area--excellent local shops and pubs usefully recommended in excellent brochure prepared by cottage owners. So sorry for the delay in sending this--have meant to do so before as I wanted to say what a brilliantly equipped cottage the 'Jolly Sailor' is--a real home from home in terms of providing everything you could ask for, having stopped in many cottages previously this has definitely not always been the case!!Fantastic and many thanks- comfortable and not at all chintzy--much appreciated. Second time with Helpful Holidays' and they definitely live up to their title. Will definitely choose them again--excellent and thanks to all. Chris Weate | |||||
