| Cottage Review:
Compliment you on the Hermitage. Very comfortable and central for daily trips. Very spacious for two people. Some feedback - the front door is a safety hazard. You need two hands, a shoulder and a strong right leg to open the door; and on exiting, it is even more difficult. Heaven help us if there was an internal fire. Even after trying, my wife was unable to open the door. Not ideal if she was ?home alone?. Basically locked in! The condition of the door may have been caused by the box gutter above the door being blocked by dead plants causing rainwater to splash on the bottom of the door. On a lighter note, there was no toaster or tongs supplied. The kitchen sink tap dripped (this may be to stop pipes freezing?) Flat batteries in clock and timer Bathroom sliding door needs some attention If these items had been attended to, it would have a very good rating. We hope you take this as constructive. We did enjoy our stay; dodging the rain and learning how British drivers are generally very considerate. Regards Peter and Linda Gilder |
