Description of the self catering
The Hayloft is an attractive stone period cottage (a former milking parlour) which is situated in the grounds of the main farmhouse and adjacent to several stables which are home to several rescued horses and donkeys. The Hayloft is located in the beautiful countryside, a mile from the village of Newchurch (located between Sandown and Newport) which is an ideal base for young families or walking enthusiasts or cyclists who wish to explore all areas of the island. Internally, this traditional cottage offers a light and airy kitchen/dining area with French doors which open out to the front of the property, a modern family bathroom as well as a relaxed living area with stable barn door to the rear patio area. On the first floor you will find a double bedroom and twin room. Outside, there is ample parking in a gated area to the front of the cottage and to the rear of the cottage there is a delightful secluded fenced garden with a patio area where guests can enjoy al fresco dining or a barbeque and children can play games. Newchurch is home to the famous Garlic Farm and one of the oldest and historic pubs on the Island, The Pointers Inn, which offers award winning food and ales. Also nearby there is Amazon World and Robin Hill Adventure Park.
