Description of the holiday cottage
Stepping into this picturesque cottage, the open plan living space is at the heart of the property. A cosy living area with a TV and comfy sofas overlooks the countryside from the Juliet balcony and a selection of games are stacked up for children to keep entertained. The kitchen is fitted with the essentials needed for a self-catered stay and a large dining table sits in the centre of the room. Double doors open out onto the patio and garden space. The double bedrooms are positioned at either end of the cottage; one is complete with a shower ensuite and a king-sized bed and the other has a large balcony overlooking the countryside. The two single bedrooms are ideal for young children and a family bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower. Outside, there is a set of outdoor furniture, BBQ, pizza oven and private lawned garden. With 17 acres of the owner's land to roam with the dog and the option to hire out the stable for the duration of your stay, you could be exploring the land with your family and four-legged friends.

| Cottage Review:
Absolutely superb accommodation, and exceptionally well equipped. Ken and Rose were fantastic hosts, nothing too much trouble. The location is ideal for the Cotswolds, with short walks from the Hay Loft to the local cafes in Chalford along an incredibly pretty canal, but also only 10 minutes from Stroud and Cirencester. We stayed during December, and it was beautiful even then (really cosy feeling with the exposed wood beams, even better than the pictures online!), but we can only imagine how amazing this place would be in Summer, with the private space and seating area out back getting the sun all day long. . . the sunsets there will be brilliant with a bbq! In all honesty, wish we could have stayed longer than a week! |
