Had a fantastic week here. Great facilities in a lovely location. Ideal as a base for visiting the area. Owners very helpful. Can't fault anything. Would most definitely stay here again in the future. Village nearby is handy for pubs etc and easily walkable!! Cragside national trust is nearby and a definite must do! A beautiful part of the UK |

We have stayed in The Granary 3 times and we are never disappointed. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable, with everything you could need. We loved the extras, wine, flowers and milk.... all really welcomed and appreciated on arrival. The location is brilliant for visiting local attractions and the coast.... Its setting is very peaceful and tranquil. The hosts are really helpful and welcoming. We will definitely return in the near future..... |

We stayed for a week using it as the base for a circular walk the Inns Way. This was an impeccable place to stay. The standard is 5 star. The touches we greatly appreciated. A lovely bottle of wine with delicious carrot cake, along with some sweets. Every appliance and contents of the kitchen were high class. The furniture including the beds very comfortable. the location is perfect for all the area has to offer. this is one of the best place I have stayed at. |

Set in a secluded rural position with extensive views over the Northumbrian countryside, extremely well equipped, tastefully and comfortably furnished it was a pleasure to return to after a hard day sightseeing. The wine and cake on arrival and the toiletries in the bathrooms were an unexpected but very much appreciated gesture; as was the welcome and information from the owner on our arrival. This cottage is within an hours drive of the main tourist attractions. We felt really at home here and none of us wanted to come home at the end of our stay. The f |

Superb cottage - well equipped, very clean & comfortable. Added touches of wine, cake & chocs got us off to a good start. ('Free range chickens' were delicious!!). Ideally situated for castles,beaches & the Northumberland countryside. Would definitely recommend to family & friends. |
