Description of the holiday cottage
The Fuffins is a five star environmentally-friendly self-catering holiday cottages at Hunting Hall farm. It sleeps four people, and has a huge garden. The farm is in the heart of the Northumbrian Countryside- between the Cheviots and the stunning coast line. Karen and Tom Burn, our lovely hosts had renovated this cottage, which apparently is a listed Georgian house, with as little environment impact as possible.'Hunting Hall offers a tranquil holiday in beautiful surroundings'. French doors open to a garden of wide views across the peaceful countryside. Unwind in this rural haven at the outdoor seating and enjoy the song of many wild birds attracted by feeders. Steps lead down through a profusion of summer flowers to a small stream overlooked by ‘The Sitooterie’. We hope visitors to The Fuffins will discover the wonderful natural heritage of North Northumberland and help us protect this special environment. In this spacious cottage guests can experience gentle luxury and a greener lifestyle.Sleeps: 4

| Cottage Review:
This was the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in! Karen and Tom were so attentive - being met on arrival, the roaring fire with tea things already set out (although I'm a coffee drinker I made an exception this once!) and the incredibly extensive welcome pack (yummy cake!)! The cottage was almost ridiculously clean - absolutely sparkling! We spent a lot of our time on the farm because though it was quiet- there was only Tom and Karen and 2 of their 'children' were around - they were always happy for us to join in on their activities. We went for loads of walks in this stunning part of the country, and loved coming back to the beautiful warm spacious cottage. I don't often write reviews, but this place is so special I would love others to appreciate it as much as we did. |

| Make up of party: As a family this was a great place to go as there was loads for the kids to do and see on the farm, with long trails and plently of animals. I guess it would also be good for more elderly couples as Tom had just put down a little track around one of the fields to make walking a little easier, and anyone who would like a little retreat in the countryside. | |||||||||||||||||||||
