Cottage Review:  

We booked a week at the Drover's Rest while walking Hadrian's Wall. It was an ideal location and we manged to navigate every place from Heddon-on-Wall to Carlisle from here. The bus stop is right downstairs, and several buses stop there, most importantly the AD122. The train station is a short walk from the rental. There is a great pub (The Black Bull) right across the square and several grocery stores within short distance, from the Sainsbury's just out back to the local butcher practically next door. Nice, very friendly welcome from the owners.

Excellent furnishing, spotless accommodation - really everything we needed.

Apartment centrally located, quiet, despite being in the centre of town with Sainsbury's just a short walk away.

Close to bus stop and railway station with many interesting places to visit nearby and within convenient travelling distance.

Local people very friendly. Brilliant weather for the entire stay.

Cottage Review:  

This first floor apartment was large, spotlessly clean and the feature bay window allowed plenty of natural light. The kitchen was fully functional with a large dining table and two very comfortable settees to watch the large flat screen TV. The spacious bedroom was clean and comfortable with plenty of storage.

The large bathroom was only let down by the smallish shower however there was constant hot water and plenty of towels provided.
