| Cottage Review:
Although the village is (very) quiet, and the cottage has all the bits and bobs you'd expect, the mattress on the bed has seen better days, and the settee is beyond uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a bouncy marshmallow and sitting on a park bench, so sleep and rest were in short supply. The settee had planks under the seat to stop the cushions going through! It was Wimbledon finals week and as the weather wasn't great we looked forward to watching the tennis. Really disappointing. It may have been more comfortable, and certainly cheaper, if we had chos |
