Cottage Review:
Lovely cottage. Beautifully converted. We enjoyed a 5 night stay here. The beams are not high so tall people may have to duck a fair bit but it’s a quirky place with lots of charm and character. The kitchen has been thoughtfully set up so that you can cater with ease for your group and enough crockery to be able to use the dishwasher. The kitchen tap is a little odd but you get used to it. Cromford mills is next to the canal with a footpath / cycle way alongside it which we cycled along one day. Walked part of it another day. We enjoyed cycling around Carsington Water, we enjoyed it so much that we cycled somewhere different every day. Lady Bowers was a fantastic place to cycle around the 3 reservoirs. Chatsworth is well worth a visit and the best ice cream that we had all week. The donkey foal at Chatsworth was adorable too. All in all a fantastic stay in a lovely cottage/ apartment. Would recommend this cottage. |
