| Cottage Review:
I booked this property through Sykes. On several occasions previous to my arrival I requested information as to the size of the off-road parking, as when viewed on google street maps the parking did not appear very large although the advert stated parking for one vehicle. One of the operators informed me I could park a 4x4 outside, I said I had a 2017 Honda Civic and was informed that this would be ok. I explained that I had two vehicles and the second was a Fiat 500 but after being assured that my Honda would fit I took the Honda. On arrival my Honda would have to be re-designed to fit or sit with the front offside in the road. I was informed by one of the local residents that a previous holiday rental had had their vehicle hit whilst parked slightly into the road. So as not to spoil my holiday I resorted to travelling around the village to find a parking space where there was not a one hour maximum stay. Sykes have no idea of the property and quite frankly don't seem to care. If they had been more aware that a vehicle any larger than a Fiat 500 would not fit I would have travelled in the smaller car. Please be aware of this for any future holiday makers , also during the day the village appears to be very busy with visitors which makes parking interesting regardless of the advert information given. Apart from this the property is well presented and supplied. |
