| Cottage Review:
The cottage was nice and clean, nicely equipped and in a lovely, peaceful location. There were nice views from the lane and the footpath behind the property. They were very welcoming and even made me a cake and left me a pint of milk when I arrived. It is a good base to explore Northumberland. The historic town of Hexham, Derwent Reservoir, all the best preserved parts of Hadrian's Wall and its associated forts and castles, and the Roman Town of Corbridge, are all an easy drive away. |
