We spent a week in this lovely charming cottage it was clean and comfortable and had everything to make your stay home from home, including a nicely fitted out kitchen. There is a Pub within walking distance, the Spotted Cow, that does nice food and real ales, the village shop is nearby and Morrisons is a 15minute drive to Belper if you want to get provisions in. It is nicely placed to explore the Peak District including various historical attractions & hiking if that is what you are into Derby is but a short drive away if you want a day shopping, have a ni |

We stayed at The Barn for 1 week during Easter school holiday. The Barn is lovely and welcoming, very comfortable, clean, lots of things to do ie, puzzles, books, films if you are inside. The kitchen is very well equipped, you will find everything you could need. There is a washing machine, iron and hairdryer there for your use. We had good weather so was outside a lot walking the open spaces. Don't be afraid to venture off in the fields, they take you to lots of places, there are plenty of walkers so someone can always guide you if you venture off. The vi |

This immaculate barn is surprisingly spacious and superbly equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the thick blinds and curtains give the best nights sleep blocking out all light. Very good shower and generous supplies of good quality towels. Big comfy sofas and even a Christmas tree and candles. Delicious chocolates made by the owner and lots of wildlife in the garden, really caring people. |

Everything you could need is provided In this beautifully appointed Barn. A welcome pack covers all the basics. Fluffy robes and an abundance of fluffy towels. Loved it. |
