Description of the self catering property
A delightful 3 bedroom, Victorian cottage in the Chalk Valley of Dorset, close to historic City of Salisbury and to the west country beyond. The cottage has been completely refurbished by professional architects and offers a unique place to stay. It has a bright and light interior that is cosy and traditional whilst offering modern facilities. The hamlet of East Woodyates is just over 10 miles from Salisbury, Blandford and Shaftesbury and there are several local pubs and lots of local walks all around.Best Features
The cottage boasts 3 bedrooms with one on the ground floor, and a delightful study/snug that leads to its own private patio for quiet contemplation! Sunnyside sits in a quiet, rural village, within an area of natural beauty and perfect for taking long walks, picnics or just relaxing within the tranquility of the countryside.
We have installed brand new fixtures including a new Belling electric range cooker, new kitchen with oak worktops, new bathrooms with tranditional fittings and a powershower. We have installed luxurious new woolen carpets and oak floors with underfloor heating in the kitchen and entrance hall.
There are comfortable beds and bedding and piles of soft towels. Bath robes are supplied in the master bedroom and a welcome pack of groceries including a bottle of wine waits for you in the kitchen. The sitting room has a cream coloured Chesney woodburning stove, which is the top of the range and the National Trust's preferred choice. A basket of logs is complimentary during the cooler months and for the warmer months we've built a solid wooden pergola over the stone patio for your al fresco dining and relaxing!
