Cottage Review:

Had a great stay with 4 dogs. Plenty of space inside the cottage. Gemma has taken the time to consider both owners and pets needs in the cottage and was constantly helpful through out the stay. Local area has lots of places in easy reach, with walks on the doorstep. Area is quiet and local neighbours were very friendly. We look forward to coming back.

From the initial contact to the end all I can say was that Gemma the owner was so professional, caring and nothing was a problem for her. She went above and beyond. All I can say is Thankyou Gemma. As for the cottage, it was beautiful, clean and everything we wanted for our holiday. The log burning fire was just so cosy and gave out a lot of heat.we just can not wait to go back.

The walks around the area near the cottage were lovely and our dogs had a great time running around all the fields.

Best of all this is the most dog friendly accommodation we have s

The location is great with walks on the doorstep and the town with some local amenities 2 minutes away. Good base for visiting Raby Castle, High Force Waterfall, Barnard Castle & Bishop Auckland.

The cottage is very dog friendly with an enclosed garden and yard. Well equipped for us humans as well. The multi fuel was lovely to curl up in front of after a long day, and the roll top bath was a welcome treat . Two lovely bedrooms with great views, spacious lounge and good sized kitchen

The owner had thought of everything, even leaving us a little welcome pac

Cottage Review:

Stone cottage is fantastic. My daughter and I had a great holiday using the cottage for lazy mornings and late nights. The owner has thought of everything, from decor to bedding and much more. The cottage had all we needed to cook nutritious meals and enough books, dvd?s and games to keep us entertained throughout our stay. It is in a wonderful location. Thank you so much for creating such a great space.

If you want to relax this is the place! A great wee find! The cottage is welcoming and very well appointed. The owner has thought of everything, even towels, toys and treats for the dog! A very nice welcome basket was much appreciated. There is a tv for DVDs, but no TV connection. Books and games are also provided. Lovely and cosy with the stove on. Comfortable sofa and beds. The cottage is in good location with lots of great countryside on the doorstep but also really close to the lovely towns of Bernard Castle and Bishop Auckland. Popped into the Royal Oa
