Description of the self catering
Skilfully converted from a former stable, this attractive cottage stands just 20 metres from a sandy beach in this traditional little fishing village. Boulmer was once the principal resort of smugglers from mid Northumberland and the Scottish Borders who collected smuggled spirits and silks and transported them overnight by pack horse. As recently as the late 19th century smuggled goods buried long ago were unearthed locally.Best Features
