Description of the self catering property
A delightful ground floor cottage with lots of charm. Well furnished open plan living/dining area with wood burning stove leading to a fully equipped kitchen. The double bedroom has an arched doorway to a separate dressing area that can be used for a cot. The bathroom has thermostatically controlled shower over the bath. Shippon is ideal for a couple or couple with young child looking for a cozy, cost effective week or short break away from it all. At the end of a long walk come back to a relaxing warm bath and an evening in front of the fire.Best Features
We are no longer a farm (although we still have cattle grazing in our meadows in summer and sheep in the winter) and now provide a variety of self catering cottages set in a courtyard surrounded by spectacular views over open fields and the rolling Peak District countryside yet only two miles from Bakewell.
Large garden area with seating etc. Peaceful rural location. Leisure area (sauna, table tennis, pool table etc). Chatsworth & Haddon Hall nearby. 20 acres of grounds. Ample secure car parking. Well behaved pets welcome. Internet connection in all cottages.
