| Cottage Review:
This property inside and out is infested with ants. Spent a week there 2021 ants in lounge and kitchen and one of bedrooms got in our clothes. Not a few but 100s of them. We bought ant powder for rest of holiday. Pit really because the bungalow is lovely right next to sea and very comfortable. We thought maybe it was a one off problem and booked for 2 weeks this year. Sykes got in touch with owner who said it would be sorted before we came. Unfortunately it wasnt. The outside of bungalow had been sprayed however the ants were all over patio area and over the garden furniture so couldnt sit outside. Then we found them on the kitchen worktops and in the cupboards with our food. We had to purchase during our stay 5 ant powders and 2 ant sprays to tackle them plus because of previous year we took 6 ant traps with us. This caused so much stress that in the end we packed up and came home a day earlier. Reported all this to Sykes when we came home and they passed it on to owners who 9 weeks later still havent acknowledged this problem. |
