Such a great holiday which we shared with our family who stayed in the sister apartment next door. An exceptional apartment extremely well equipped and really homely with large rooms throughout. The information packs in the apartment contain everything you need from operating instructions to places to eat and visit. 2 beautiful patios to the front and rear of the property for sunbathing in the summer months, 1 of which has sea views. We were so surprised with the wonderful welcome hamper that provided a great start to our holiday. The property was exceptionally clean throughout. The location in Carbis Bay is perfectly situated by the beach and only a few minute walk to the train station for the 3 minute ride into St Ives with regular trains throughout the day. Perfectly situated for walking the coastal path which we chose to walk to and from St Ives on several occasions to make the most of the beautiful views and dolphin and seal spotting.

Apartment was very well presented and exceptionally clean. Lovely location near beach. Good train service on doorstep. Lovely place for a holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Sea shells apartment was absolutely beautiful. A garden setting which meant we could play ball games provided and spend time outside after returning from the beach. The apartment was superb, very clean everywhere, so well equipped with everything you could need. Books and games provided to cover all age ranges. The apartment is very big, spacious and had a wonderful setting. Parking space provided in secure locked parking area..Booking process was great, friendly, efficient communication. A lovely card and welcome pack with goodies upon arrival. A lovely gesture which made it more personal. Beds were really comfortable and decent pillows. Presentation of glasses in cupboards was perfect. Very well stocked kitchen/cleaning products and rubbish bags. So very well thought out and equipped. We can’t wait to return next year!

Really lovely apartment. Decor & equipment to a very high standard, lovely comfy beds. Sea view of the stunning Carbis Bay. Welcome goodies were a lovely touch.

We visited a number of places while staying here, including St Ives, the Minnack Theatre, Kynance Cove & Porthleven, all of which we’d recommend. There is also a nice Spanish restaurant at the top of the road.

We had a wonderful time here & would not hesitate to recommend the apartment.

Sea Shells exceeded expectations, it was very well equipped with very thoughtful touches, the cream tea, bubbly and welcoming hand written card from the owner. Truly an excellent self catering of the very highest standard of cleanliness and extremely comfortable, highly recommended. We were there with family so had also rented Sea Spray which was of the same excellent standard. The owner was very helpful, pre arrival information was very detailed and the information folder in the apartment covered everything you could possibly think of.

The apartments are within a short walking distance of Carbis Bay Train Station and Carbis Bay beach, no need to use the car. For walkers the South West Coastal path is easily accessible. We did a circular walk to Lelant, the West Cornwall Golf Club past LeLant church serves breakfast, teas, lunch etc

We had arranged a Tesco delivery for the evening of our arrival and that worked perfectly.

An amazing apartment, fully equipped and beautifully presented. We received a welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely gesture. The owners were very helpful and friendly, answering queries we had prior to our visit.

Apartment located a 5 minute walk from Carbis bay beach and although a very steep hill, very accessible. A nice coastal walk to St Ives and a few minutes walk from the train station.

Great location for exploring attractions in the area.

We enjoyed a Sunday roast and an evening meal at Gannet Inn a short walk away (which also did a lovely junior menu).

A 5* holiday which we would thoroughly recommend and we would definitely book again.

This trip was mine and my boyfriends first trip to Cornwall and my god it did not disappoint. Amazing location, stunning apartment and fantastic views. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you for having us !!!

We arrived at Sea Shells after a 7 hour drive from Yorkshire to be greeted with a very much appreciated welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, scones and champagne.

The apartment has everything you need kitchen wise and was one of the best equipped self catered accommodations we have stayed in. Even little things like salt & pepper, tin foil, kitchen roll etc are provided.

The information booklet provided useful tips but also recommendations for things to do and leaflets on nearby activities.

The patio is a lovely sun trap and the views from the front are amazing. Parking is gated & secure.

Brilliant apartment and the hosts were very responsive with any queries I had ahead of our stay.

Sea shells is a beautiful apartment and an ideal place to stay with family or friends. On arrival we received a lovely card and welcome pack with teabags coffee milk chocolate and a bottle of bubbly which were very nice so we could have a nice cuppa as soon as we arrived after our long journey. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need, beds are very comfortable and towels are soft and white. Lovely sea view and patio area. Ideal base for touring Cornwall. I would highly recommend and definitely stay there again in the near future

Apartment is spacious and very well appointed; 2 good sized bedrooms (one ensuite)that both open onto a sun-trap private courtyard. All mod-cons in the kitchen (dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, microwave). Comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom and divine shower in the en-suite. Plenty of towels (beach and bathroom), plates, glasses and lots of attention to the details that matter (windbreaks, beach toys, games, music and DVD's for if it's wet). The 'how to' manual for the property is detailed and clearly presented covering off everything from how to use the dishwasher to the frequency of the local train.

When we arrived we were met by the property manager who gave us a guided tour of the property, showed us where everything was and gave us recommendations of things to see and do in the local area that were perhaps a little off the beaten track. The welcome pack (tea, coffee, biscuits and a lovely bar of chocolate) was just the cherry on the cake.

And all of this before you take in the view from the lounge over the bay, which is simply stunning.

The property has it's own parking space in a private, gated car park, this is very handy in a place where on-street parking is at a premium.

The location is the perfect base for a holiday. 2 minute walk down the steep hill to the train station (train every hour into St Ives takes 3 minutes). 3 minutes walk further down the hill and you get to the quiet, clean and pretty Carbis bay beach. 5 minutes walk away is a local convenience store or 3 minutes drive to the local supermarket.

In short, we had a fabulous time staying here and I can't speak highly enough of it. Everything from the apartment itself, to the helpful and friendly advice from the owners and manager made our stay truly memorable.

SEA SHELLS was a ground floor holiday apartment with fantastic floor to ceiling views. Located within The Sands Apartments in Carbis Bay we were absolutely delighted with the location as we could walk to the beach in just a few minutes. Carbis Bay station was close and the two minute train journey into St Ives was delightful.

The apartment was extremely clean and very spacious and was so well kitted with everything you could need on holiday. We are not easily pleased but couldnt fault a thing. The owners have thought of everything and their efforts were appreciated.

The welcome pack was a real surprise and set the scene for what was atruly remarkable holiday. We will definately be going back .... soon!

We cannot praise this apartment highly enough. From the moment we stepped into the property we knew we had made the right choice. The spec of the apartment is to such a high standard, talk about that home from home feel - it was better!! The Welcome Pack was such a lovely and thoughtful touch and got our break off to an fab start. The property is in an excellent location, the view from the lounge overlooking Carbis Bay is out of this world, we couldn't wait to draw the curtains each morning. The apartment is well equipped to an incredibly high standard - absolutely everything has been thought of and the quality of every single item is beyond expectations. The kitchen is brilliant and is such a focal point - I want one! The bedrooms were spacious, plenty of storage and the beds were so extremely comfortable another example of the owners just getting it right! The location is first class, Carbis bay is on the doorstep, we loved the local train that got us into St Ives. The owners left so much information on ideas of where to eat, how to occupy our children with local places of interest to visit and things to do, we are now hooked on surfing!! We just didn't have enough time to fit it all in, so next year we are going to try for two weeks! We just could not find anything to fault - wow we had such a great holiday, thanks for letting us stay!
