Description of the cottage holiday

Samuels Cottage is a 4 bedroom holiday cottage in Lanreath in Cornwall, a fine, Grade II listed, south-facing cottage, mentioned in the Domesday Book, flanked by equally ancient cottages. To the front of Samuels Cottage, a neat walled garden; at the back, a large, mostly lawned garden on two levels (steps) with patio (table/chairs, barbecue) which can be lit at night for romantic dining. The entrance hall at Samuels Cottage has an inglenook woodburner, slate floor, leather window seat and pool table; large living room with polished wood floor and leather sofas; fitted oak kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave, freezer, larder fridge) with slate floor; utility room (washing machine, tumble drier, loo).

Back door and 2 steps up to cobbles, then 2 further steps up to first tier of lawn and patio, and 11 slate steps up to further lawn. Upstairs, four bedrooms including a double bedroom with tv and with en suite shower-room (suite with large cubicle), another double (5' bed, TV), a twin (limited clothes-storage space), and a single with additional 2'6" z-bed; bathroom (suite with roll-top bath plus hand-shower). Garage (by arrangement) and additional off-road parking opposite cottage. An excellent cottage in every respect.
