Description of the holiday cottage

Ruan Barn is a two bedroom holiday cottage near Port Isaac in Cornwall, a semi detached holiday home with a superb balcony in a fantastic rural location. Nearby Port Isaac itself is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Cornwall being the home of the Doc Martin TV series. This is a reverse level property designed to make the most of the living space with a fantastic lounge and balcony that opens out with great views over the rural countryside. The open plan design means that this is a property where you can really get together. The lounge has comfortable leather chairs and a leather sofa as well as a wood burner and flatscreen TV, all modern and very well presented set on wooden flooring.

The kitchen at Ruan Barn near Port Isaac is a superb, modern kitchen with built in appliances including an electric double oven, induction hob and ground level lighting, there is a dining table that seats 4 to the side of the kitchen area. There are two bedrooms at Ruan Barn near Port Isaac including a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, again both of these bedrooms are extremely well presented and well furnished. The family bathroom has a bath and a separate shower, heated towel rail, sink and storage cupboard with a WC. Set in a beautiful location with extremely large lawned areas that are accessed from the property, the great base for a family to explore the North Cornish coast. Cottage Review:   Sometimes you book somewhere and think it sounds too good to be true. Happy to say Ruan Barn manages to be all that we read and more. Rob & Clare have created a fabulous living space which is a perfect location to get around as well as a peaceful place to retire to after, in our case a hectic days walking or cycling. Even though there were strong winds one night at the time of our visit a goods night sleep was achieved in the clever reverse level building. Put simply we can not recommend the place enough and that?s without including the cream tea Rob and Cl
